Pipette Calibration in RTP, Raleigh, Durham & Chapel Hill, NC

Bio Matrix Inc. provides on-site and mail-in pipette and balance calibration for the Research Triangle — Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. This page is for Triangle labs, not Greensboro–Winston-Salem–High Point. NIST-traceable documentation built for GLP/GMP, FDA, CAP, and CLIA environments. Local technician based in Apex.

Local Service for RTP, Raleigh, Durham & Chapel Hill

Research Triangle Park is the largest research park in the United States — more than 300 organizations operating across pharmaceutical research, biotech, contract research, and government science — and the Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill metro is a separate market from the Piedmont Triad to the west. The concentration of FDA-regulated and GLP/GMP-compliant facilities in the Triangle is among the highest in the Southeast, and documentation requirements are non-negotiable. Labs in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, or High Point should use our Piedmont Triad pipette calibration page instead.

Bio Matrix Inc. has a regional technician based in Apex, NC — minutes from the RTP campus boundary and the Durham, Raleigh, and Cary corridors. On-site calibration visits are available for facilities with 10 or more pipettes, with our technician arriving fully equipped with calibration equipment, tools, and 800+ OEM-quality replacement parts. Pipette repairs are completed in the same visit when parts are available, eliminating the need to ship instruments off-site. Smaller labs and single-instrument needs are handled via mail-in service with no minimum count.

Every calibration certificate is reviewed, signed, and delivered digitally in a format accepted by FDA auditors, CAP inspectors, CLIA surveyors, and GLP/GMP quality teams. Level 3 service includes as-found and as-left performance data for facilities with the strictest documentation requirements.

Local Advantage

Our Apex-based technician serves the RTP corridor without the travel delays and minimum-count requirements common with out-of-region providers. Scheduling flexibility for urgent calibration needs.

Areas We Serve in the Research Triangle

On-site routes cover RTP and surrounding municipalities. Mail-in service is available from any Triangle-area zip code.

Research Triangle Park (RTP)

The largest research park in the US — home to over 300 companies including major pharmaceutical, biotech, and government research tenants. GLP/GMP and FDA-regulated environments across the park demand traceable calibration documentation at scheduled intervals.

Durham

Duke University Medical Center and affiliated research operations, along with a growing cluster of biotech and life sciences companies in the Research Triangle. CAP and CLIA documentation requirements are standard across hospital and academic research labs.

Raleigh

State government health labs, WakeMed and UNC Rex clinical facilities, and a growing private life sciences sector anchored by the NC Biotech Center. On-site service available throughout the greater Raleigh metro.

Chapel Hill

UNC Chapel Hill research labs across the School of Medicine, Eshelman School of Pharmacy, and affiliated health system. Academic GLP environments with rigorous documentation requirements.

Apex / Cary / Morrisville

Fast-growing suburban life sciences corridor hosting pharmaceutical and CRO facilities. Our regional technician is based in Apex — same-day scheduling flexibility for labs in this corridor.

Statewide / Mail-In

Mail-in calibration accepts shipments from any NC address. No minimum instrument count — ideal for smaller research groups, startup labs, and single-instrument needs across the Triangle region.

Compliance Documentation for RTP Labs

Research Triangle Park hosts one of the densest clusters of FDA-regulated and GLP/GMP-compliant research environments in the Southeast. Pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations, and government science agencies operating in RTP typically require pipette calibration at annual or semi-annual intervals with documented NIST-traceable certificates. For FDA-audited environments, as-found and as-left performance data is expected — not optional.

CAP-accredited labs at Duke, UNC, and affiliated health systems require calibration records that can withstand inspector scrutiny. CLIA-certified clinical labs require documentation as part of their quality management systems. Bio Matrix certificates include instrument identification, technician credentials, calibration date, NIST standard traceability, and pass/fail results at each tested volume — structured to integrate directly into your QMS without reformatting.

All service levels include balance calibration. If your facility operates analytical or precision balances under the same compliance framework, we calibrate and certify both instruments in the same visit.
